Who's Your Caddy? If You Win Buick Contest, It Could Be Tiger Woods

Theallineed.com
Buick, the premium international automotive brand of General Motors, is giving one lucky person an exclusive opportunity to play golf alongside Tiger Woods, the world's top golfer. Only this time, Woods will serve as the winner's personal caddy in Buick's new "Tee-Off with Tiger" online contest that begins today and runs through Sept. 28, 2008.

Contestants who register at www.teeoffwithtiger.com will have an opportunity to vie for the grand prize to partner with Woods or to win a high-end collectible only Buick can provide: Woods' personal Buick vehicle – driven by the golf phenom himself – at several tournaments in which he competes during the promotion window. Every Buick vehicle Woods drives will come with a Tiger Woods autographed plaque, which is authenticated by Upper Deck.

"This is going to be as much fun for me as it is for the winners," said Woods. "I'm looking forward to sharing some golf tips, maybe a few jokes and certainly a lot of laughs," he said.

To participate, entrants record their scorecard predictions for each of 18 holes Woods plays during four rounds of golf at each tournament he competes in, during the promotion period. If the contestant chooses not to pick the scores for a specific round, an "auto-fill" option is available. If this feature is selected, random, computer-generated scores will be assigned to each hole for that round.

The entrant who best guesses the most holes closest to Woods' actual score for that particular tournament will win Woods' Buick. The top 10 entrants from each tournament will become finalists and be placed in a pool. From that pool, the grand prize winner will be drawn.

The grand prize winner will receive two round-trip, coach airfare tickets to La Jolla, Calif., site of the 2008 Buick Invitational and U.S. Open, two nights' hotel accommodations, golf merchandise and more. Woods will serve as the winner's personal caddy for nine holes on Mon., Oct. 20 at Torrey Pines in La Jolla.

Buick's "Tee-Off with Tiger" promotion also features several instant-win prizes for each tournament in which Woods competes. Participants have a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to either Nike Golf or the PGA Tour Superstore while navigating through vehicle tours at www.teeoffwithtiger.com. Prizes are selected randomly.

Participants in Buick's "Tee-Off with Tiger" promotion must be U.S. residents 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license as of the date of entry. Entrants need only register once and can participate each time Woods competes in tournaments during the promotion window. To register, or for more details, visit www.teeoffwithtiger.com.
