Why Aren't You Getting What You Want? |

If you go around and ask, "Do you want to become a millionaire?" I believe 9 out of 10 will say yes to your question.
But why isn't everyone a millionaire?
Let's use becoming a millionaire as an example to share my thoughts. What I'm going to say applies to anything that you want to achieve. It can be wealth, freedom, health, security, happiness, recognition, and respect.
Definitely, you want things that I've just mentioned. Have you achieved any?
We always hear people say, "I'm sick of my job now and I want to change job." Or "I want to give my parents a good life when I have money." Or "I'll spend more time with my loved ones when I have more time." Or "How nice if I could afford this car!"
Basically, people know what they want. But at the end of the day, most likely they will not achieve what they want. I know it because it happened to me before until I found the key to unlocking your potential to have what you want.
In life, you have a series of goals. And some goals are of high priority, some are low. In our mind, consciously or subconsciously, we arrange our goals with priority. You'll take action on goals that are high in priority. You tend to ignore goals of low priority.
High priority goals are like life and death goals. If you don't do it, it can be fatal. That's why there is no excuse for not achieving the goals. This is the mentality that you have when you deal with high priority goals.
But when you look back in life, how many things that are so important to you in life but you never treat them as high priority goals.
Take financial security as example. In fact, everyone has the responsibility to become wealthy. Because this is one of the important key factors to help us to become who we are capable of becoming.
Only with money, you can only have the freedom to be who you are, to do what you want to do and to go wherever you want to go. Isn't this the life that you are looking for?
Everyone wants to be rich. And you also know that being rich can help you solve many of your problems in life. You might not agree with me but let's face the fact. If not because of the bills that we need to pay, month in and month out, do you want to force yourself to wake up early in the morning and go to work everyday? Or you rather wake up when you feel like it and indulge in anything that you like to do?
Put financial independence as one of your goals with highest priority. Don't treat it as a wish list. You can get what you want to get if you have your priority right. You can turn your wish list into reality if you change the priority.
Many people fail to achieve financial success is because they put financial goal at the bottom of the list with or without their knowledge.
When you begin to treat your financial goal as high priority, you'll think of it most of the time. You'll achieve what you think about most of the time. What you focus on will expand. By doing so, you'll unleash the creativity in your mind to think of ways that can help you achieve financial success.
To summarize, why people fail to achieve what they want? It's because they don't treat goals which are important in life as high priority. They are complacent with what they have. And they feel more comfortable in situation they are familiar with.
