Many people in the workforce are currently working from home or another remote location that is away from a central office. Often times this can span over many countries and regions of our planet. But, with the advent of the internet we can now have instantaneous global communication in a number of different ways. Aside from the telephone we can now interact via live video conference, email, texting, faxing, and a newer form of faxing known as eFax. eFax is a service that has been established to enable people to be able to send a fax when there is no phone line available. All you need is access to the internet and an eFax provider will assist with the rest. The following will go into detail on the different ways one can send an eFax.
How eFax Works
This service is very simple to use and offers you multiple ways to get your fax message sent out. The only two things that you need are the fax number to where you are sending your information and an internet connection. There are three ways that you can send your message. The first is through your email. All you need to do is add the information you want to fax to the body of an email and make the email addressed to the <faxnumber>@efaxsend.com. The service will take care of sending it to their fax machine as well as readily sending you a confirmation message. The next way you can get it done is through the eFax online website. This will allow you to skip the email portion and simply upload the document to their website. Finally, if you are not in front of a computer you may use their mobile app via smart phone or tablet like device. The service works the same way in reverse for receiving faxes. For email they will come into your inbox as an attachment, you may download them off of the website, or pull them from your mobile application as well.
One very handy feature that eFax offers is the ability to sign and return documents. Many of us still need to print out a document, sign it, scan it, and then send it back. You can avoid all of that hassle by using the electronic signature feature included with eFax.
Picking a phone number
Using eFax you will have the ability to establish either a local or a toll free number for your faxing needs. This number will work the same as a typical fax number would, and will be usable globally. eFax boasts that they provide fax numbers in 49 different countries. Simple choose a number from the available list, and the service takes care of the rest.
Everyone now knows about using email, faxing, and teleconference. One technology that is coming more and more popular is online webinars held in interactive video conferencing software such as Go To Meeting and Web Ex. These allow a presenter to show himself to his audience and also present information such as Power Point presentations and other interactive Webinar type environments. These are great for reaching out to prospective clients and obtaining business. They add a personal feel and get the people on the other end engaged into what is being presented. As our ambition and imagination continue to grow, our technology will also continue to become a bigger part of doing business and the way we interact with one another.
