Potassium is one of the minerals present in the body and is involved in most vital functions. It is eliminated by the body through urine and sweat. However, a deficiency of it could cause certain symptoms such as cramps, stomach distension, constipation, low blood pressure and muscle weakness. So there are situations where that mineral can be deficient, but one way to get extra is through these drinks that help raise potassium. Just remember that these drinks do not replace medications, so they should be handled with caution.
