Not a month has passed since PlayStation 5 hit the stores, and there are many curious stories that have emerged around Sony’s next generation console. Many of these have a negative side, such as the theft of PS5 or consoles that never reached their destination, but today’s must be one of the strangest and funniest stories to date. We put you in a situation: a man was forced by his wife to sell PS5 once she discovered that he was cheating on her… as far as the machine’s function is concerned.
The story has taken place in Taiwan. According to Jin Wu, he managed to find an Internet offer from a woman who was selling her own console at a very attractive reduced price, and in a practically new state. However, after agreeing on a time and place for the transaction, the man was surprised. It wasn’t a woman selling PlayStation 5, but a man – why would he lie about that?
After chatting a little about the contents and operation of the equipment and verifying that everything was in order, Jin asked him why he was selling the console at a bargain price. The salesman, with a sad look on his face, only answered: “It’s my wife who wants to sell it […] It seems that women can still tell the difference between a PS5 console and an air purifier,” finished the protagonist of this story. He didn’t have to say any more for Jin Wu to understand what had happened.
The salesman had bought his PS5 and so that his wife would not notice it, he had the console put through an air purifier. In his head it must have been a foolproof plan but it didn’t take long for his wife to discover the lie, forcing him to get rid of the console at a price far below what it originally cost. Jin Wu benefited from this by buying the console for an incredible price, although he admits that he felt a little bad about seeing the lost look of the seller. “I kept quiet after seeing the look in his eyes. I could feel his pain,” he says.
