The U.S. education center in Baltimore, Maryland, began a global record of infection, deaths, and recoveries at the start of the covid-19 pandemic last March. The map is updated in real time live and has today reported 50,052,204 active cases of coronavirus worldwide. The United States has the highest number of victims with 9,879,323, followed by India with 8,507,754 and Brazil with 5,653,420. October has been the most tragic month, with more than 100,000 cases per day from the US and a rapid increase in the rate of infection on the European continent. In the last seven days, cases of infection have increased by about 540,000 per day.
Global Coronavirus Deaths
The coronavirus pandemic has resulted in a total of 1,253,110 deaths worldwide. The highest number is also in the United States with 237,192 deaths. Brazil follows the American country with 162,269, India with 126,121 and Mexico with 94,808 deaths. The list continues with the European nations, the second focus of the covid-19 pandemic. United Kingdom (49,134), Italy (41,394), France (40,220) and Spain (38,833).
It is noteworthy that there are no cases of infection or deaths in regions where the coronavirus pandemic has not yet arrived, such as East Timor, the Seychelles, Solomon Islands, or Mongolia, all of which have had zero deaths from the pandemic. Also noteworthy are the countries that have managed to almost completely eradicate the existence of the coronavirus, such as Australia with 27,658 infections and 907 victims, or New Zealand with 1982 infections and only 25 deaths from the covid-19.
