Young man shoots 4 people to death in Memphis and streams it live on his Facebook account
Arrested the author of a multiple shooting that has killed 4 people. The events occurred last night in the city of Memphis.
There, a young man of 19 years, early Wednesday night, toured the streets of the city and opened fire from his vehicle and without regard in eight different points. As a result, four people lost their lives and several were wounded, some seriously, causing panic among citizens.
The authorities asked people to take extreme precautions and not to go out on the streets to prevent further injuries, as the perpetrator had not yet been identified.
Hours later, police officers managed to arrest him after identifying him as Ezekiel D. Kelly. Apparently, the young man had broadcast live, via Facebook Live, the moment in which he shot several citizens, which facilitated his capture.
However, the images have been removed from social networks and, in addition, Instagram has proceeded to close his account in the early hours of this morning.
Now, as reported by the police chief of the city of Memphis, the perpetrator of these 4 deaths, who has several criminal records, is in police custody. Earlier this year he was released from prison after 11 months for aggravated assault.
The FOX network has published on its official Twitter account the moment in which several police patrols managed to handcuff him and transfer him to police custody.
