The Facebook team continues to work on the sidelines of the scandals that are constantly spreading to the company and are now celebrating their annual developer conference, which they call F8.
In this meeting they have announced that both WhatsApp and Instagram will add video calls, which will allow users to communicate with up to four contacts simultaneously, without interfering with the application.
Video calls are already being tested on Instagram and on WhatsApp we will find it in a couple of months. In addition to this new option, they also announced that the expected stickers will finally arrive.
The Facebook team has not provided more details, it has only briefly shown some screenshots about the dynamics that video calls can generate, without complications and with a few simple clicks.
In addition to news related to WhatsApp, they have also announced new features for Facebook, to improve interaction among users, and give more options to control how their data is used.
For example, they presented a new feature that allows controlling the data that Facebook gets from websites and applications that users use. With this new function Clear History, you can delete all the data that Facebook has collected in this way, and point out that they do not want you to continue storing information associated with our profile.
This feature, like the majority that Facebook has announced yesterday, is still in development and will take a few months to reach users.
