Disco Elysium continues to improve to reach all parts of the gaming community. The award-winning open-world RPG has triumphed in various parts of the world, resulting in an expanded language list and arrival on various systems, including Nintendo Switch.
However, ZA/UM does not forget about PC users and has decided to lower the minimum requirements of the game. According to its Steam page, the new Elysium Disk update allows the game to run on computers that are almost 15 years old.
New minimum requirements:
- Windows 7 Operating System
- Intel Core 2 Duo Processor (formerly Intel i5-7500/AMD 1500 or equivalent)
- 2GB RAM (previously 4GB)
- DirectX 11
- Integrated or dedicated graphics card with a minimum of 512MB of memory (formerly Intel HD620 or equivalent)
- 20GB of free hard disk space
- MacBook Pro: Mid-2009
- MacBook Air: mid-2012
- iMac: end of 2009
- Mac Pro: end of 2008
- Mac mini: 2009
The update also confirms the development of translations into Spanish, Korean, Russian, Portuguese, and two new languages: French and German. Disco Elysium continues to grow, now covering even a sector of the community that does not enjoy today’s PC technology.
