It is common knowledge that Epic Games Store usually offers certain discounts to its users, as well as new video games every week. Usually, every 7 days it gives away a title, but the dynamic has been increasing recently, to the point that this week we will have up to three deliveries available under the seal of quality of the virtual platform. The offer will be in force between March 22 and 29, 2021.
The video games in question that can be enjoyed this week from Epic Games Store are: Deponia: The Complete Journey, The First Tree and Ken Follett’s The Pillars of the Earth. Puzzle, comedy, adventure, exploration, storytelling… The genres covered by these three titles are very different, in order to convince the large mass of subscribers.
Deponia: The Complete Journey
From Thursday, March 22 on Epic Games Store we will be able to download Deponia: The Complete Journey for free, which is generally around 30 euros. As if we were in the dystopian future of the movie WALL-E, our goal will be to escape from the planet Deponia dump. The mini-games will be presented to us in the form of ingenious obstacles, which we will have to complete in order to advance.
The First Tree, the animal-friendly option
Developed by David Wehle and edited by David Wehle. This indie was published in 2017 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PC and even mobile devices. It deals with the “intimate and emotional story” of a fox whose ending “you won’t easily forget”. Get carried away by the soundtrack in a short video game with some of the simplest platforming and puzzles.
Ken Follett’s The Pillars of the Earth
In the same way as Deponia: The Complete Journey, Ken Follett’s The Pillars of the Earth is developed by Daedalic Entertainment. This work saw the light of day in 2017 and is set in 12th century England. Poverty and war rage in British territory while a “small town begins to build a cathedral in search of prosperity and security for its inhabitants”.
